Dave, I had been wanting to get a G&L bass again for a long time, and when I saw this G&L JB2 bass (Maple fretboard, Premium flame maple top, Cherryburst) at Guitar Adoptions I fell in love with it! When I called you about it, and you quoted me an unbelievable price, I had to have it. And WOW!!! Since I'm a Guitar Repair Tech, I went over every square millimeter of this JB2 after it arrived and found the construction and finish to be absolutely flawless. What a beauty! The JB2 was almost precisely in tune even after being shipped to me; the truss rod and intonation perfectly set, so all I needed to do was set the action height to my personal liking - very low. And having done that, the JB2 played effortlessly over the entire length of the neck, with no - zero! - fret buzz. Plugged in the tones it produced were full and punchy, wonderfully balanced, and it exuded rich complex harmonic overtones. It sounds every bit as beautiful as it looks! Once again Dave, you have made me a 110% satisfied customer of Guitar Adoptions! Just wanted to send a few lines to say thank you. I am a bass player & have been using G&L basses since the mid 80's. I am getting on up in years and decided to buy me a good six string & visited Guitar Adoptions,needless to say Guitar Adoptions is now saved in my favorites on my computer. I contacted Guitar Adoptions a week ago & found a G&L ASTAT Blueboy. When I called to inquire about the guitar I talked directly with Dave.
