Just a quick note of thanks for demanding that I need George L cables. Upon receiving the kit that you sent me, I quickly, and I mean QUICKLY assembled a cable to try it out. The assembly is TOO easy, and forced me to laugh at the many times I sat stage side rushing to solder a broken conventional cable before the show started. I plugged my G&L ASAT straight into my Boogie Mark III using the George L. I liked what I heard...I compared the George L with a standard cable that I normally use, and I felt as though the amp was receiving a bit more signal when I used the George L. I wasn't bowled over, but I certainly wasn't disappointed, so I whipped up a few more short cable's and plugged in a few of my usual stomp boxes. Holy Tone!!! I was blown away...My tone was stronger, and more present than I can ever remember hearing. There seemed to be no signal lost, and I was running through three pedals! I was very pleased...but it was only when I played an acoustic solo gig the next week that I became a true believer. My acoustic tone was so impressive...detailed and clear. I've used the same pick-up and amp combination in a variety of acoustic guitars for 5 years, and I've never been so pleased with my rig...I've since replaced every cable in my live rig AND my home studio with George L's. Thanks again! |
