I recently purchased a G&L Tribute ASAT Deluxe Carved Top. Evidently this one missed G&L's quality control. I ran it through a Fullltone "OCD" and it squealed like a microphone placed in front on a PA speaker. I sent it back to G&L and they admitted the "microphoning" was the result of the pick-ups lack of "potting" at time of manufacture. They promptly corrected the problem at the California factory with an apology. What a difference! The humbuckers are really beefy and the split coil feature allows a really nice Tele sound. For the money, it's a great investment. J. Swanson |

| Hi Dave,
The Larrivée L10 arrived safely yesterday. I took your good advice about allowing the guitar to adjust very slowly to the indoor temperature. Yesterday was indeed cold---0 degrees at 8AM, and I was worried about it. Fortunately, there was no problem at all. The guitar looks great. I had high expectations for the guitar, and it has exceeded my expectations. It is beautifully appointed. It has an exceptionally clear mid-range and great power. This is a successful guitar adoption. Best wishes |
