Product Overview
Powerful humbuckers and Korina is magical with guitars, just like
‘buckers and Mahogany. But how about a ballsy MFD humbucker-equipped
bass? Fact is, Leo Fender had known for years that Mahogany and G&L
MFD bass humbuckers are a delicious combination; in fact, the earliest
L-2000s had Mahogany bodies for deep, warm tones. Naturally, the Custom
Creations crew had to try Leo's MFD 'buckers and Tri-Tone
active/passive preamp system with Korina, and what better way to round
out the Korina Collection than with an ASAT Bass? Turns out the
Korina-bodied ASAT Bass bridges the gap between the depth of mahogany
and the focused midrange of Alder, a tasty destination where punchy
funk and heavy rock riffs reside. Take it from bassist Steve Grom,
G&L Director of Manufacturing and lead Custom Creations member,
"This is one badass ASAT Bass."
