The LR Baggs LB6 is an extremely stable unitary pickup and saddle designed for high-volume stage environments and unpredictable P.A. equipment. The LB6 Pickup offers you high output and great sensitivity and presence. Reproduces the natural sound of your acoustic guitar. Practically bullet-proof to feedback. May be plugged directly into most guitar amps or PA. 100% shielded, super quiet. It boasts a heritage of over 20 years of stage use by professional artists such as James Taylor, Phil Keaggy, Kathy Mattea and others.

Environment and Playing Style:
The LB6 is the most stable and feedback-resistant non-magnetic pickup available. It works well in large venues with loud stage volumes, and has a dynamic string response that is able to effectively cut through the mix of a band. The LB6 is excellent for fingerpicking, flatpicking, heavy strumming, and cutting through the mix with a solo.
Use:
The LB6 pickups will sound best when used with a high-quality, high-impedance ( >= 4.7 megohm) onboard or outboard preamp with a minimum gain of 9dB and EQ into a good full-range PA.
The LB6 pickup will not work directly into a PA board, "low Z" inputs, line inputs and many wireless transmitters.

The LB6 can be plugged directly into most combo amps, acoustic amps or effects with a minimum 1Meg input impedance. However, we generally recommend using a high-quality onboard or outboard preamp with the LB6.
The LB6 also works with the Dual Source Preamp (available independently of our Dual Source System), which has an additional mic input, and works in stereo mode via our Stereo Y Cable. The Dual Source Preamp plugs into any line input, amp or effect. A third option is our Duet II-LB6 system, which pairs the LR Baggs LB6 pickup with the Duet II onboard preamp/equalizer.
Finally, the LB6 can also be used with any of the LR Baggs outboard preamps, including the Para D.I., Feedback Master, Mixpro or Gigpro.
