I have this same guitar (G&L S500), except in honeyburst. It is by far the nicest guitar I have EVER played, bar none. And this includes many high-end/ vintage Gibsons and Fenders. The tone and playability are absolutely first rate. I bought mine used and have completely fallen in love with it.
This may well be the finest, most versatile left-handed guitar made. You can make this guitar do anything. Just with the onboard controls, running straight into an amp with no effects, you can go from telecaster twang to screaming lead, all the way to metal. It's pretty amazing. It may not be the coolest looking guitar in the world, but that means nothing once you've played it.
