I recently purchased a Larrivee OM-09 with the "Anna" headstock. The package arrived yesterday well packed and without damage. The guitar is a testament to the fine instruments Larrivee produces. It looks, plays and sounds like a boutique guitar costing thousands of dollars more. I too was apprehensive about purchasing a guitar online that I did not have the opportunity to play beforehand. Dave assured me that the guitar I was inquiring about was "gorgeous" and that the woods used in the construction of this instrument were top notch (it has a "red" sitka spruce top). Everything he told me was absolutly true. It is rare in todays marketplace to find someone who is so knowledgeable, couteous and willing to offer fine instruments and accessories at a fair price. Dave Schmidt's "Guitar Adoptions" is such a company. I look forward to doing more buisness with you in the future.
Thanks Dave!

I have bought bass guitars from Dave Schmidt since 2004 . I always keep coming back because honestly he is the BEST in the business. Nobody will compare with Dave regarding quality, service and Price. Dave's instruments are quality products that I feel are geared for musician's that know and appreciate what a good instrument is! THIS I feel-- is what truly separates Dave from anybody else! I consider him not only a salesman, I consider him a friend.
Thanks again Dave for another great bass.

Dave,
I was reluctant to buy a guitar that was clearance priced; but I had no reason to be reluctant. The guitar arrived and right away I realized I got an exceptional deal. The guitar is a work of art and the Madagascar and Red Spruce combination produce a clear sound with fantastic sustain. It's hard to believe that in time it will sound even better than it does right now. Thanks. Dan

RE: New Larivee LSV-11e no cut
Dave,
I haven't been able to put the guitar down since it arrived. A real beauty. Thank you for making this purchase very easy. I can see that I don't have to look around for the best place to buy a new guitar in the future...I found that place with you and your company.
All the best!

For those leftys out there seeking an awesome electric guitar the Larivee RS-4 is the perfect choice and Guitar Adoptions is the place to get it. Dave is extremely helpful and worked through a few production hiccups with Larivee to get me a beautiful amber RS-4 a little late but worth the wait.

Dear Guitar Adoptions,
Many thanks for your expediency in delivering the Schertler David acoustic guitar amp. The amp arrived two days ahead of schedule and was critical to the success of my performance for a concert in Manhattan. I greatly appreciate your fast, efficient service, great price and excellent communications via email. Thanks again! -- Steve Salerno

Hi Dave-
I just received my 6th Larrivee from you, in as many years.
Just as each one before it, the L-09 arrived in perfect condition.
Wow. Holy smokes.
Shimmering highs; punchy bass.
Beautiful!
Thanks very much.
All the best,
-Mark

Just received the G&L Tribute series Cantrell Rampage and couldn't be more pleased. I originally had called with questions about the guitar and Dave answered personally, addressing my concerns immediately. I decided to order the guitar directly after speaking with Dave (Tues afternoon) and it showed up on Thursday at noon to NY! Talk about prompt delivery! I emailed Dave twice after receiving the guitar and got a reply within an hour or two both times. This is unheard of with most guitar shops.
As for the guitar itself, don't let the Tribute series dissuade you. This is my first Tribute (I also have an '85 Invader) and it's a good value for the money. Ebony board and neck are super smooth, action was set good and the trem stays in tune! The pickup is great, IMHO, and has a lot of bite, harmonics and overtones.
Older Rampages are getting pretty tough to find, so if you're a Cantrell fan like me I recommend picking up one of these, and definitely at Guitar Adoptions!
Thanks for everything Dave, and you'll be on my short list for my next guitar-related purchase.

Purchasing a high-end guitar online can seem frightening, but my experience with Guitar Adoptions was quite the contrary. Dave was with me through every step while I was deciding to buy my Larrivee C-10, and made me comfortable with purchasing the guitar over the internet. I just received the guitar, and I already know my dream acoustic guitar is a Larrivee; the tone is unmatched by any other acoustic I've played. Its absolutely gorgeous, the tone is a perfect balance of low, mids, and highs. I strum a chord and walk away, and the guitar just resonates with amazing sustain.
I highly recommend Dave from Guitar Adoptions, he'll not only help you along the way (he spoke with me for hours about my guitar prior to my purchase), but he'll make sure you're satisfied with your guitar even after you've received it so you know you're in safe hands.
Thanks Dave!
