Today, I've received the Larrivée LV-10 Lefty. The shipping condition was excellent, and the guitar itself has no problem. Its sound and feel are what I expected and, perhaps partly due to the Elixer strings, its playability is splendid. So I love it.

Good Morning Dave,
The (Larrivée) OMV-10 arrived yesterday evening. I must tell you that I am very pleased with this instrument. It's absolutely gorgeous. Not a ding, dent, scratch or even a finger print on it. And the sound ....... is superb. Excellent tonal quality, sustain, volume and sensitivity for finger style and flat-picking, just as you described and more. I can't imagine this guitar sounding better, but I know it will as it matures and opens up. This is an all star guitar in my opinion. It is all that I have been searching for over the past 3 weeks. Thank you for assisting me with this purchase.
I'm certain we will do business in the future.

I inspected it for the slightest of scratches and dings, and thankfully, I found none. Hey Dave,
Just received my Larrivée L-03 MT today ...awesome shipping time to Canada. The guys in my band were telling me it would be a couple weeks---turns out to be about 5 working days to Canada. I let it warm up for awhile and just put it down (after about an hour and a half!). Plays great, sounds and looks beautiful.

The packages arrived last Thursday just ahead of the ice storm here in the Greenville-Spartanburg area of South Carolina. I am extremely pleased on all points of this purchase of the Larrivee’ D-10E Guitar and Ultrasound AG-50DS3 Amplifier, and heartily recommend Guitar Adoptions, Larrivee Guitars and Ultrasound Amplifiers, and of course, UPS.
You very successfully neutralized the doubts and fears associated with the risk of doing e-business – no easy task, especially with big ticket items that coincidentally are very much a matter of personal tastes.
The Ultrasound brochure you packed with the order proclaims “YES! We’re Everything We’re Stacked Up To Be … And More!!”
Having actively shopped for a guitar for over eight months, and hearing a lot of sales pitches about a lot of products from a lot of people in the superlative along the way, it seemed fair to apply that standard to this entire buy. Speaking objectively (mostly) and from a rather broad base of experience …
Service: Outstanding! You know your products extremely well, were able to determine and recommend the products that best suited my needs and requests, you did not pressure just to make the sale (even when all your phones seemed to be ringing from other Christmas buys) and took the extra steps to assure the sale went through well.
And it did.
Price: From Great to Better to Best: You met the best price I could find for the guitar*; and the Tuki amp cover extra made the amp buy the best deal to be found.
Delivery: Fantastic! First, it seems only God and Jean Larriv’ee have a better selection of Larriv’ee guitars to choose from; second, the packaging, packing and marking job between you and the respective factories ranges somewhere between best commercial practices and Military Standard packaging (I appreciated the plastic over-wrap of the guitar case to help preserve the temperature and humidity levels and the sturdy cartons and dunnage ensured both the guitar and amp arrived good–to-go); third, I ordered on a Saturday night, you promised Friday delivery, I received the order on Wednesday morning during the holidays, and I was able to track the entire shipping route through the UPS e-link received. I’m impressed.
Product Quality: Wonderful! Awesome! All-wood and American made! The Larriv’ee D-10E is stunning to look at. A closer visual and tactile inspection of all accessible surfaces proved it to be flawless, batting 1000. Undeterred, I repeated the inspection under magnification (about 3X or so) and high intensity lighting. Admittedly no fair going to the ant-speck level, but it still proved it to be about as perfect as humanly possible, batting .997 (– if that’s a bad day at the factory, I’ll take that EVERY day!) The materials and build quality, fit & finish are all top notch and extremely precise; it came set up well, and very playable, and with great tuners. On these factors alone, the D-10E meets or exceeds comparable models from Gibson, Godin (Seagull and Simon and Patrick), Tacoma, Martin and Taylor (Both the Martin D-41, without electronics and the Taylor 810 Cutaway Electric are both far more expensive). But it beat them all on tone acoustically, and is also superb with the non-invasive B-Band A2.2 pick-up. The case is very sturdy and well-designed, too! Likewise, the Ultrasound AG50-DS3 amplifier also is top notch in build quality. While idle, it produces perfect silence free of white noise; when played through, it produces perfect, clear sound; lots of great effects; and BIG volume in a very compact package. Everyone in my house loves the look and tone of this guitar and amp!
Another Proof: No Buyer’s Remorse - After a week: If I had to do it all over again…I’d do it all over again! and my fingers really hurt from playing so much.
Conclusion: So, Yes, Guitar Adoptions, Larrivee’ Guitars and Ultrasound Amplifiers fully backed up their claims through their products and actions.

While I don't have the skeptic turned believer testimony as some on the site, I ordered from you expecting good things. However, when I received my guitar (Larrivee L-03R), I was blown away, absolutely stunning!! Your high reputation is truly earned. I know where to refer my friends.

Imagine my surprise when I visited your web site looking for a Larrivee L-03 to complement the L-10, that I bought from you the beginning of the year, to see a new (Larrivée) C-05 Lefty for sale. These are a much sought after guitar that Larrivee no longer makes and that I've always lusted after. Well for the price you quoted me all thoughts of a L-03 went right out the window, I had to have this guitar. And what a beauty she is, the mahogany back and sides are nicely figured, something you only see in the highest grades of mahogany, and the spruce top is nice, tight and silky. And the sound is nothing less then heavenly. Being a lefty I'm used to having a very limited selection to choose from.
Most music stores only carry student models and if you want anything decent you better be prepared to wait, becuse it will need to be special ordered. Not so at Guitar Adoptions, Dave carries as many lefty models as some dealers carry right handed models. And as this C-05 attests to, not just the baseline instruments but some really fine quality high end instruments. I can visit Dave's site and lust after many different models. Top all that off with great customer service and there's really no reason to shop elsewhere.
I know that Dave will have what I'm looking for at a price that can't be beat. Looking forward to my next purchase.

As many bass guitars that I've bought from you, I feel like I've known you for years ! The "darth vader" (G&L U.S.) L-2000 is just awesome ! Customers need to take a realistic look at the "Tribute" series basses because they are an incedible value for the money . YES FOLKS THEY ARE !!! You won't be sorry. Thank you for your friendship, customer service ------- honestly you are one of a kind in the retail business.

I received the G&L ASAT (Classic "S") in perfect condition. Played it all weekend. What a beauty. You were right about the third pickup option. It offers a nice array of new tones. The set-up and intonation are great and it plays beautifully.

Hi Dave,
The guitar arrived today (Larrivée LV-05E) in perfect shape. The sound is great and the playability is excellent. You were right that the setup was good from the factory, it is just where I want it. I also bought a humidifier over the weekend so I can control the humidity of the room--thanks for your input on that, I think it's a much better solution than the soundhole products. Good for my other guitars too I expect.
Thanks for your very fast service and good advice, I look forward to enjoying this guitar for many years.
