Larrivee L-03-12E Acoustic Guitar
Review: I have bought 2 guitars from Dave at Guitar Adoptions. The first was a Larrivee DV-03RE Lefty, and this 12 string you see here. My friends have heard my DV-03RE and loved the way it sounds. Crisp, pure, bassie it's just balanced all around, they haven't heard my 12 string yet, and most of these guys own Taylor's. You can't get a better deal anywhere than at Guitar Adoptions. Larrivee OM-03 Acoustic Guitar
Review: Just got this guitar last week and I am thoroughly impressed. My first Larrivee but definitely not my last. The playbility, craftsmanship, and sound are unmatched at this price point. Excellent fingerstyle guitar but a great strummer or flatpicker as well. Great balanced tones, projection, and sustain. Dave is awesome to do business with. Fast shipping and excellent service.

Larrivee OM-03R Acoustic Guitar
Review: A few months ago I purchased a Larrivee OM-03R. I have had plenty of time to play and I can tell you that its a great guitar to play. The craftsmanship is superb, and Dave here at Guitar Adoptions was very helpful. This was my first internet buying experience for an instrument and I couldn't be happier. I wouldn't think twice about buying again from Dave. I'm sure if you are thinking about a Larrivee you will be very happy with any model, and you can't beat buying from Dave.

Review: Several years ago wandered into the store - played many guitars, not really looking - played this guitar (Larrivee D-05 acoustic) over and over again, comparing it with others. Wonderful detail, deep clean bass, even registers throughout. Bought it. Have played reso for the last few years - out of the case today. Sounds the same with the same strings - bright with fingerpicks, mellow without. Very sweet - highly recommend!

Review: This guitar is buy far the best thing I've ever heard!!! Sweet sounds, very resonant (with the right strings) and cool looking!! The rosewood has some of the best grain I've seen on a guitar, better than Taylor. The playability is great outta the box, very comfortable neck. You will not be disappointed with this buy!

Larrivee D-60 Acoustic Guitar
Review: Well this is my 3rd Larrivee. You could not ask for a better guitar. Just for the record I sat with my friend and his HD-28 Martin and he was drowned out and amazed by the sound of the D-60. Larrivee Set this guitar up amazing it was like perfect right out of the case. Dave is an honest, upfront, easy person to work with. He will answer all your questions and make sure you get the right guitar. Larrivee might be the greatest guitar manufacture ever! I've been through the Larrivee Factory for a tour and you can really tell how much love and passion goes into each guitar! Thank you Dave!!!!

K&K Pure Mini for Steel String Guitars
Review: I installed the Pure Western Mini on my Larrivee L03 over a year ago...it still amazes me at how natural and full it sounds. I probably could have gone with the full-sized version and gotten slightly more level, but I haven't found that the PWM lacked anything in that dept. One comment I hear a lot is that these are a bit hot in the mids, which, from a certain perspective is true, however it just means that the response is very flat and will need to be eq'd accordingly...exactly what you want in an acoustic guitar PU...no coloration or artificial sounding compensation in the eq...just flat, true reproduction.

Review: I've bought several of these from Dave now and the last one I decided to install it myself. It was a whole lot easier than I thought it would be and it sounds great. I use it live with a K&K Pure Preamp. Never have to worry about what pickup to buy for any future guitar purchases!

Review: I've heard alot of the K&K systems, but didn't know whether they sounded that good or not. I purchased a Standard K&K Western, and installed it today, which was not that difficult, and certainly much easier than installing a Fishman UST. Plugged it in and.....WOW! What a great natural sounding pickup. I couldn't believe how good it sounded. It doesn't have that piezo quack, and is very loud without an amplifier or pre-amp. How do they do it? I don't know, but I know I'm a believer now! My friend wants one in his guitar now, after hearing how mine sounded.

Review: I've been using K&K mini pickups for several years now. I have them in three diffrent guitars. They are very natrual sounding. How natural? I've had people tell me my direct recordings sound mic'd. You can hear wood and steel.
